when my heart is quiet
when my soul is still
when I have surrendered my thoughts
to the truth of Scripture
when I rest in the sovereign God
who loves me
when I place each life I love
each detail of my day
each joy
struggle
disappointment
surprise
in the hands pierced with nails...
then there is peace
